About Pittsburgh Marine Technologies
Pittsburgh Marine Technologies was started by Robert Tully, a United States Coast Guard licensed 150 ton Master. As a working captain in the Port of Pittsburgh, the nation's second largest inland port, he saw the need for economically priced, full-function electronic navigation systems. Once thought of as something only the big ocean going ships used, these systems are now being installed on many towboats, passenger vessels, and workboats plying the Western Rivers System.
Drawing on years of experience with using electronic navigation systems on the oceans, the Great Lakes and the inland rivers, as well as years of experience with computers and computer programming, Captain Tully has developed a system designed specifically for the inland marine industry. |
